Are These Quarters Damaged Post Mint?

If it is only showing on one side, then it is damage caused by heat on both quarters.
Always show both sides of the coin when making inquires, this can sometimes be important.

I'm sorry. I've already posted these once but have since learned that I should post pics of both sides of the coins. So here they are. Is this damage from the mint or post mint?

You should have posted this with the original post, we know have two postings on the same coin.
I have asked a mod to combine them.
After seeing the obverse of the second coin, I now think this is damage from
a strike as opposed to heat damage. This is why seeing both sides is important.

Always ask yourself, can I make these marks myself with a hammer, bb gun or whatever? If yes, then it is damage not an error.
