Thanks. I'll look into it. I'm halfway tempted to order the blank American women's quarters page. They also have blank Bust quarters pages available, but they don't have as many open slots. I ordered the Whitman type set album yesterday from ebay. I found it ironic that you can purchase albums cheaper through other sellers like Wizard Coin supply, as opposed to Whitman directly, since they also have an ebay seller account.

I get it. I feel like Whitman (and buying from them directly) used to be a pretty affordable option and why I generally purchased them over Dansco when I initially got started in the hobby last year. Doesn't seem like it much now. The Whitman type set album on their ebay account is going for 44.95. If you purchase it through Wizard's ebay seller store, it's currently at 25.86. That's nearly a 20 dollar difference, though. Whitman does have some kind of "promo" going on right now, and it makes it a bit cheaper. But man, still. That's crazy.

They probably have them for direct sale because all the [insert term for some who thinks they know better] insist they need to offer them for direct sale. So, they price them high to protect their channel and reel in a few suckers.

Thank you! I think for now, I might have possibly put this kind of set on the back burner. I have, however, recently acquired my Whitman type set album and got to work on it. I decided to crack open my slabbed 1970-S. It was a sacrifice I was willing to make. This is what I got so far... I'd love to have really super duper high class coins. Maybe eventually. These probably won't be my final choices in cents besides the IHC. Nickels Dimes are meh. I've been sitting on this silver 57 dime for ages now though and haven't had an idea of what to do with it. This random dateless Standing Liberty quarter that someone gave me at work that I also haven't known what to do with, but didn't want to get rid of it. I was also lucky to get sent the newer version with the updated page to accommodate the Crossing the Delaware and Women's quarter.

Looking good. Since it will be on the back burner you can take your time and find the best grade that your budget will allow to slowly fill the holes. Maybe like one every few months. Just take your time and don't just settle for cheapest just to fill a hole. That way you're not constantly upgrading it. At least that is how I would do it.

Every time I see this Type album makes me want to start one. But I must resist, I have way too many irons in the fire already. Gotta control that shiny new coin problem.
