Yeah, they were reasonably priced back when I originally started purchasing them, which was only around a year ago.
About six months later, I got into Dansco and basically swapped over to them.

I am thinking to purchase one of these this week. The only thing I don't like about it honestly is the fact that for certain commemorative coins, such as the 2009 Lincoln cents and 2004/2005 Jeffersons, there isn't room to put more than one coin example. I also don't like how easily the side stabs wear out with Whitman albums.

I had a Jefferson album that literally fell apart due to the side tabs coming undone. I mean, I guess this will happen when you are constantly swapping coins out, but still. Most of the coins I put in this album will probably stay in place and not come out. Dansco isn't perfect either, though, and I've had on several occasions now unfortunately cases of pages coming unglued at the bottom right corner.

Sure there is: there are 4 spots open for each mint (P), D, and S (Proof)

Well, in that, yeah. Lol.

I'm specifically referring to the Whitman type set album, though. Only one of each basically in that.

I wouldn't mind doing that, as Dansco makes an album that is a "General US type" album.

However, there are so many slots in it... I wouldn't really know what to do honestly lol

Some coins I could easily fill in some of the pages. However, some, like Dimes, I wouldn't really know what to do with them.

Dansco album #7080. There are also no pages for large dollars, or small dollars.

There would be alot of waisted open spots, it wouldn't look right. Dime page alone would never be filled.

Yes. Exactly.

I thought about doing 2x2's, but I honestly don't like messing with them honestly. For many of the pages, I could find different variations I think to put in the slots. I know I could with cents, nickels, and half dollars.

For example, with nickels, I could put Buffalo nickels, Liberty nickels, jeffersons of various mints/varieties/years. I could do silver jeffersons, regular ones/business strikes, multiple proofs both from Philadelphia and San Francisco, the 2004/2005 commemorative versions, and then the newer ones from 2009 on. Could even throw in some of the satin/matte finish ones. I mean, technically, on paper, that leaves a lot of choices.

I imagine I could do something similar for cents. However, it would certainly be easier just doing 1-2 of each coin, as opposed to this way. I like this idea though, if I could find the right way to house them.

I have been getting away from them, moving my miscellaneous stuff into various blank Dansco pages with different sized holes (millimeter).

Yeah, I like using blank pages when I can. The only problem is the lack of consistency with the availability in Danco's products. For example, you can't find ANYWHERE right now blank quarter pages. My second thought was to look for MM pages that would match the size of a quarter. Well, those aren't available either it seems. Sheesh. Talk about frustration!

You can't get anything close to the size of a quarter in MM pages. Ah well. I've been looking at various used Washington quarter albums from Dansco on ebay, but nothing that stands out.

I'm looking at a Whitman album for the time being for both my quarter series I want to start out with, and the Type set.

I have been forced to buy some quarter pages and 'erase the text that Dansco put on them and then relabel the way I wanted them to look

99% isopropyl alcohol, a few Q-tip swabs (on a wood stick) and a clean rag does the trick quite nicely.

Really? Interesting. They have blank women's quarter pages available. Thats the closest I've seen to anything currently available.

Indeed...

https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/da...men-quarters

Keep in mind, it holds 20 quarters, versus the 24 on a standard Quarters page...
