I did enjoy spending nearly thirty years filling the 7070.

I on year 5 filling mine. Now that I think I'm finished with my world coin collection (is it EVER finished?) I may get back to my 7070 album, or possibly my '1969/1994' world coin collection for my Brother.

Not sure yet.. Maybe I'll just pay off my new house first!!

Dearborn, I would pay off the house first, that way you'll have a place to store your coins..

Nope. Never. A World Type Set is virtually infinite!

This. I like this.

Having debt. Paying interest. Two things I dislike.

You can keep a coins in a place you do not own.

But does one want to?

Yep same here, I have 3 coins missing and have no interest in currently getting them. I may eventually come back to the 7070 but my camera broke so I'm saving up for that first.

Got these recently for a good price I think. They were both 50% off, so 4 bucks.

I bought them with a future type set in mind.
Thinking-About-Starting-A-

I want to get that Whitman album for a type set, but one thing that's holding me back is the fact that the one I had awhile back was missing spots for the more modern quarters. It appears they have updated it now.

But I'm not sure where I order it from will automatically designate that I get the updated version.

Are you looking for a whole new album or just replace the page? I haven't seen the replacement page but ebay has the whole album. I just looked for sellers that show the pages in their ad to make sure the newer quarters are shown.

This is the one I saw. https://www.ebay.com/itm/256526480399

I would contact them ahead and have them confirm it is an updated album before purchasing.

I don't actually own the album at all, so yeah, I'd the whole new album. I did notice some sellers show the updated one in their pictures like you mentioned.

Whitman also has an ebay seller account. I'd assume buying it from them direct would probably land me the updated version.

Good idea. I can't believe how much many of these albums went up in price.

yep, they are getting expensive because the sellers are taking advantage of the fact that Dansco is not releasing them as much anymore..
