Beware of LIttleton Coin Company's pricing. According to their web site, https://www.littletoncoin.com/, they'll sell you a 1930 Buffalo nickel in Fine condition raw (no certification by PCGS etc.) for about $13.00. That's a huge difference from the Whitman 2026 Red Book, which valued it at $2.20 for an F-12! Shipping cost would bring the total to around $25. |

That's their business model. The TV coin guys are along the same lines...one of my favorites is when they are selling some obsolete coins and say "sold out at the mint".

LIttleton Coin Company has always been high. How many grandmothers or grandfathers fell for their products. Same as buying coins from T.V. salesmen, higher than a kite.

On the Flip Side: we sold such coins to Littleton; let's say out of several hundred coins submitted under their BUY Policy; they'd keep less that 10% as "meeting their standards". If you buy something from them, it's been chosen over several hundred coins to be offered publicly

As you can tell by the responses, many are already, and for some time, aware of this. The good news is...you are now aware of this, and hopefully some new collectors to this site will see this this post and become aware of it too.
