Here's a Buffalo nickel I recently picked up in nice, well-struck condition. The coin weighs exactly 5.00 grams, which is spot on. It has a die defect, as seen in the photos. My main question concerns the potential impact of the so-called "die lamination" on the coin's value. Also, will a grading company accept this coin for slabbing?

Nice Lamination! I think the TPG's will accept it no problem.

Thanks for the replies! Got this beauty for only $15. The seller was selling vintage pins and had no idea about its value.

This coin is one of the best struck 18-S Buffs I've ever seen.
