1954-S Jefferson Nickel, Possible Unlisted Repunched Mint Mark / RPM ?

Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6550 Posts	Posted 08/18/2025 1:21 pm I bought this 1954-S nickel on ebay based on the PCGS TrueView images. There is an odd ridge weaving through the S, and what appears to be notching on the top right termination. I cannot match it to any known RPM on Wexler or Variety Vista, either by shape, position, or markers. There does not appear to be anything significant to warrant an RPM submission. I think the TrueView pic is a bit misleading, and pushing my little clip-on iPad scope to its limits created the illusion of something worth investigating.
