What are your thoughts on the 2024 Flowing Hair Silver medal? That's the one US Mint product that has me excited to look for at coin shows. Personally, I wis that the mint would make a series of silver issues of classic coins from the 18th and 19th Century of our history. Imagine seeing a silver Gobrecht dollar or a silver Draped Bust Dollar. With the technology in use today, it would be possible to do. This would make for a fun series for the Semiquincentennial.

I'm glad that I ordered one from the Mint. I've not seen them at shows, and ebay prices are $$$!

That is a nice looking medal. How big is it? Approximately the size of a silver dollar?

@nickelsearcher: The FHSM is the same diameter as an American Silver Eagle, 40.6mm / 1.598 inches.

Yes, they are struck the ASE blanks, not the silver dollar ones. I wish it were the latter to be closer to the original, but given the price the former is appreciated.
