NGC 1858 LL Flying Eagle Is 1858/7 Fe

The buy price was $64 with free shipping. I got the coin today and I was right, it is an overdate variety. What I don't understand is why NGC didn't designate it as an 1858/7. I thought that the grading firms might let submitters know they had a variety and let them decide to pay a variety fee or not. I guess they don't have the time to notify customers due to the volume of coin grading they have to process to be profitable. Report this Post to the Staff
