I'm... less than pleased about potential contraction of Mint facilities when other things are expanding but I'll leave it at that.
That said... I have been chirping in other channels about trimming my modern US Mint purchases way down after next year. If SF goes away that might be the push to exit collecting modern products completely and work on / spend on classic commems instead.

While I will wait and See, The San Francisco mint Has some Footprints to follow in, They Were the Go To Proof Manufacturers . The West Point, having done a Sweet job @ it, they Can do The Job, should they Need to. In My Opinion....

I do not believe anything the current administration says, so I will believe it when it happens. Until then, it is all humbug.

Quote: I will believe it when it happens That's typically what I believe as well. The fact they are pulling these products for subscription makes me think it's probably true. The Limited Edition set probably not as much of a concern as the S proof also being pulled from being available on a subscription. Unless the mint changed it's mind about offering subscriptions in a general sense. I still think the reasoning is they would rather sell products in clamshells, like they did with the Congrats set.

Quote: If you know, Thanks It has already taken place. If you have a sub for this year, you get it, but after this year, it's over.

I was wondering if the Morgan and Peace Silver Dollar proof subscription information was going to change when they released today but they do say, at least for now, that the next release for the S Mint proofs will be in 2026.
So they seems to be just reorganizing what they will offer.
