1857 Copper Victoria Penny - New Centerpiece?

I purchased a bag of "random" world coins at an auction and found a 1857 Copper Queen Victoria Penny with its color and luster still pretty vibrant! Is this beauty really as valuable as the internet leads me to think? If so, I will get it graded. I am new to collecting so I am curious what your opinions are.....thoughts? NumisRob Bedrock of the Community United Kingdom 17878 Posts	Posted 09/10/2025 4:20 pm It's a scarce date with a mintage of only 752,600, so it's worth something to a collector in any condition, but sadly this specimen is quite worn and looks as if it's been polished. The shine is not mint lustre - a coin with original mint lustre would have no wear and would show Queen Victoria's hairlines and the cross on Britannia's shield very clearly.
