Don McDermott New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 04/12/2006 3:54 pm Have 1900s Morgan, certified by out of business grading company, they said the coin is MS65, I sent to PCGS, they wouldn't assign grade because of questionable toning, can I get rid of toning and repair coin to luster quality and then send for grading, could PCGS be wrong and company that graded the coin MS65 be right and the coin is naturally toned. Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 04/12/2006 4:14 pm NGC has a company that conserves coins named NCS, they may be able to conserve the coin and get all the fake toning off then you would be able to send it to either NGC or PCGS to get graded. that is if they can conserve it properly and it hasnt done permanent damage to the coin. If you would post a picture of the coin if possible we could look at it and tell you if we think its fake toning or not, alot of us here are morgan freaks and know quite a bit about them and the tactics people use to make a coin more desirable. Unless I am proven very wrong, there might be coins that could be bought much cheaper than what you are going to do.
