I bought a new coin viewing scope so I'd like to give my old one away to anybody that could use one for coin searching. https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Mic...E/ref=sr_1_1The rules are: 1) The contest is open to members that have over 50 posts 2) Just enter a picture of your nicest coin searching find to enter. 3) I will write all the names down on pieces of paper and throw into a bowl then draw the winner. 4) Contest ends this Wednesday, September 17th at 12pm High Noon . The scope automatically connects with a Windows computer when you plug into a USB port. Anybody else with a different OS is on their own on how to figure out how to get it working. They have a website that has instructions. Edited by Marv65 09/13/2025 3:23 pm

Cool prize for a give-away & thanks for the opportunity to play Marve. When I first started out CRH'ing, I found this one (maybe 45 degree rotated die error), still one of my favorites considering its modern day coin.

Thanks for the contest! I mainly roll search nickels. This 1939 DDR was one of three that I found. It was the first and nicest.

That is so nice of your Marve65 to give this coin viewing scope to one of the members here! I have one of those scopes, and they are excellent for exploring close-up of coins and electronic components... Hope the winner enjoys the scope as much as I do mine...

Any Barbers (mostly dimes) I would find as a youngster were hopelessly AG, borderline G or culls, so this one was a big deal back then. Thank you for the nice giveaway. Have fun with the new one!

Thank you for the contest Marve65 ... much appreciated. I'm entering with my best nickel Cud find during 394,000 nickels searched while completing my CRH set. 1980-P Jefferson nickel Reverse Cud
I called it a 'waterfall Cud' and sold it to an astute collector for $85. I appreciate your informative posts so please keep up the valued contributions.
