So let's say that you send them a $200 coin and pay the fees for grading and slabbing. They send back your mint state 1939 Walking Liberty half in a holder labeled XF45 1901 Indian cent. You can't use that coin for a registry set, and you can't really sell the coin online or to a dealer, and most importantly, the grade on that graded slab means nothing. So having failed at grading, and failed at encapsulation, they wash their hands of the mistake because a Walking Liberty half dollar cannot be reasonably mistaken for an Indian Head cent?
