So much for $78 being a floor. Looks like silver just dropped to $75.

$78.06 got violated this morning, with the new low of the day now at $77.12

That was 2 days ago.. Beginning of the week..

$78 support was broken 2 days ago.. $79-$77 was the floor.

So, now that we've violated $77 and made a new LOD of $75.63..

Quote:
There's some prior support lower at around $75'ish.

$75 will be the next test.

Only thing of note is that the SLV Put that I bought last Friday is Up in the green. The silver ETF has been going down little by little for the past 6 trading days.

Oh well wish I had better news.

I just sold the SLV Put I bought last week and offset some losses in other positions like PSLV.

Looks like Silver found some buyers at $76.40 I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think they'll hold the line for a little while at least. But if not I'll just go back into a defensive position.

Like the SLV ETF, Silver futures are now also in their 6th down day.

The beatings will continue until the morale improves.

Can't wait to see the response to that one

I know

I used to hear that all the time back when I was working in the electrical construction industry, when things would get tough, I always got a kick out of it... I've changed careers since then, now I mostly sit on my butt all day, so the beatings aren't as severe.

I started stacking silver about 11 years ago. I mostly stopped buying after it stayed above $50. My total average cost per ounce is $27.05. I never plan to sell but if I did I'd make a good profit. I doubt spot will drop that far.

My cost average is about $20-$22 (honestly I can't remember exactly, I know I have stuff I bought between $15-$19 too) but yeah I doubt we'll ever get to buy it at that price or at $27 again.
Edit* I do own paper silver like ETF's at much higher but that's for day trading only, my physical will not be touched outside of an emergency.

Much of my recent silver purchases are from the US Mint, so you know those prices are high. According to my spreadsheet, ~$66.70 OZT is where I get into the black for total cost. Anything below that and the price might as well go back to ~$30 OZT because I am not selling my coins.

Yeah there's been plenty of times recently when I've thought man those silver eagles I bought at $25 or those Peace dollar's I got for $17 (and the list goes on and on) those would be nice to sell them when Silver was at $100, $110 or $90 or $80 right. But nah, I got over that. It could go back to $30 I'll still keep them too.

I have been buying and selling the paper from back in the $60 range to above $90 and back again at this level too. So I'll just keep buying and selling that for fun and profit instead.

I'm not liking hiw the close is shaping up right now.
The whole market is throwing a little fit, like it wants to go lower, at the end of the day no less. Jimminy Crickets.

And just like That.. Voila!! Here we are... $75.015 is where it stopped to be precise...

Got here a lot quicker that I thought, didn't it..

Last thing I want to see now is a Gap Down into tomorrow, but closes like today's usually do that.
