I get it. Plunge is relative to the previously boring chop yesterday. I might have used the same word because in this context it is accurate.

Meanwhile, steady rise back towards the $77 mark.

*whew*

My heart sank a bit when I saw it "plunge" down to $75. Glad to see it wasn't the beginning of an actual plunge. At least, not yet...

Hey Marv if you want to come on here every night and quote the price you see on your metals app, and that's all, if that's your "cup of tea" then have at it. Me personally, I can do that myself but at a much deeper level than you have access to. You see Marv you probably don't realize this or even know what I'm talking about but as a trader with a professional trading account I see things in ways that the general public can't and don't have access to. I have Level II market access so among the many other things you can't see or do, I see price movements live, as they happen, every penny, every second, every fraction of a penny. That's the perks of having a trading account. So while you're looking at your slow moving delayed quotes that move ever few minutes, I'm watching the action live. Just Google what having Level II access and a professional trading account offers over what you can see. Maybe you'll learn something.

My "cup of tea" is having a more in depth conversation about ALL the things that move the price of metals and the market, where the price is and why, and where they might go next, the speculation, predictions, news, even the rants. That's my cup of tea.

So Marv your welcome to join me in these conversations but if you're just going to come at me with some "aha" stuff like the time you said my Oil quote's were wrong and I had to politely show you how you were the one misinformed and wrong.. Well you see my point is, if that's your angle, then trust me you're just going to wear yourself out trying and maybe even end up looking a bit silly doing it...

There's a thing called mean reversion, so today I'll be watching to see if it reverts to mean that's around $78-$79 and chops sideways to up.

Why? Because Silver still has not broken the uptrend from the $60's low, not yet, the chart is still bullish, for now, despite the setback.

Not until it breaks below yesterday's low, so I'll be watching if it breaks below $75 today or in next few day's. That would be bearish. Also watch Gold.

Well ladies and gentlemen sadly something happened last night as if someone just flipped a switch or something but we have broken below the $75 level in Silver overnight and hit a low of about $74.23

So the probability, now that Silver officially broke the up trend by plunged below $75 overnight towards $74, is more of a sideways to Lower chop until the switch flips again.

We'll call it the "pre plunge" or preview of what might or could be coming.

Yup, on my screen it was more of a whipsaw move, then late night and early morning we saw more bleeding. So that was the first sign.

Buckle up, kids!

Might be time for the ride to begin the Down part. Weee!!!
Take a look at the chart below and what I mean about how silver broke the up trend after it plunged to $74 last night.
Red arrows going up for a month since the $60's and then hit a high of $83 and now red arrows going back down to who knows where.

Hey Marv there you go again taking my word's out of context to make yourself appear to be right. It's still not working for you though. But I hear there's a bunch of people like you on X doing the same thing to make their false narratives sound more believable.

There you go Marv I fixed it for you, again, jeeze.

I'm gonna have to start charging you a fee for fact checking you all the time.. I mean what is this the 5th time?
I mean at this point you're deliberately spreading false information.

After the 2011 spike, the downward slide continued for over four years. Nobody in 2011 thought they'd ever see $14 spot again, yet there it was to kick off 2016. And there was that anomalous dip to $12 in March 2020. I caught that dip, yippie! Caught a roll of Quarters at the bottom.
The 1980 spike also took years to bottom out. And then, it basically flat lined below $10 for a couple of decades.

I have no doubt the floor is higher now, but ...
