Well, it's too early to say where silver will close today, but right now it is above $85, which is nice...

Quote:A little dip and back up again. Silver testing to see if this is the High for today, "I'm givin' her all she's got! Captain" in my Scotty the engineer Star Trek voice. This may be it for now. But who knows. Not a bad run this morning. Silver up %7 percent or around $6 bucks. Depending what source you check. I'm watching GOLD to see if it's even gonna bother putting it's shoes on today. It's only up $8 bucks an ounce for the day as of right now... Kinda Weird.

Needs to build support so we can make a run for $130 later.

Quote:Needs to build support so we can make a run for $130 later. So here's the thing. Let me get my popcorn because this could be good. Support is below at $82-$83. That level was a tough nut to crack a few weeks ago. But not today. Today it's floating above it. Now normally after a big move like today it would want to go back and retest the $83 support and build some momentum before continuing. But not today? Something is up. Silver is still pushing up at the end of the day. No pullback yet. So does it refuse to look back and keep moving up? If so then the next (floor) level to crack is from $91 to $93. Going to have to watch what happens on the overnight night shift.

Quote: That was an interesting bounce Yup, That was a 'turn and burn', 'we're not looking back', kind of a move. Any other day it would have settled back down on that dip and sat there, chopped around, some profit taking. I expected the bounce to run out of steam later in the day but it held up. There was some buying strength today for sure.
