Found this 1964 P Jefferson nickel in my bank roll of Nickels today. While th9s coin shows circulation damage and very tough to get a good picture of I thimk this is a nice coin and so I would show it. Take a look at the pics and let me know your thoughts and regards all.

I can see the normal silvery color on the rim which tells me it's not a BB nickel. It's environmental damage.

I agree, environmental damage, but still kinda cool. Make it a pocket piece and see it if forms a ciruclation cameo.

close, but not a BB. it has nice luster, but the rim detail shows the real color of the metal as it got scraped. BB nickels will be dark through all layers. including the edge.
