I would like opinions on whether this medal is genuine.
It's meant to be a 1979 10th Anniversary Great Libyan Revolution medal in sterling silver. It has the right weight, diameter, and my Sigma says it's sterling silver, but the finish of the medal looks really cheap and quite.... fake. The medal came from a mixed world coins lot at auction.
https://en.numista.com/76887Catalog weight: 28.27g. My weight: 28.00g
Catalog diameter: 40mm My diameter: 40mm
Medal thickness is 3mm. Tests within brackets on Sigma Metal verifier on sterling silver setting.
The photos:

It is really shiny and looks unlike any other silver coin I have. It tests fine, but just looks... odd.
Lastly, there seem to be wildly different values for this medal. On
ebay there's a sold listing for PCGS UNC Details Cleaned for US$220
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/167266041691But looking auctions linked from the Numista page the going price is about US$45.
Were there restrikes? Copies made in sterling silver?
Comments welcome.
