Yep, sorry to see that this is a weak D and not what he advertised. you have a great case to return it and as stated, go through the ebay return system. provide the newer imaged the seller sent you, AND take some of your own to prove it is not a no D. Document EVERYTHING. |

I assume you opened a return request for "item not as described". The seller has 3 days to respond and provide you with a return shipping label, otherwise ebay will do it for him. He will need to fully refund you after tracking shows that he received the coin back. |

Thanks, yes... it as "item not as described". ebay says I can get them involved on 11/15. I offered him a partial refund of $400 and I'll keep the coin but he didn't take that. |

Better to send the coin back (intact in the 2x2 he put it in, but get a few images of the item (in the 2x2 - don't open it) to get good image of the weak D MM . and get a FULL refund.

Unfortunately I do not believe it is authentic. I do not believe it is a 1922. The second 2 is off. I have a really worn 1922 no D weak reverse and it looks nothing like the one you posted.

I really love the graded one! Perfect transaction with seller. As somewhat predicted... the seller of the "weak D" variety that I got scammed on has ghosted me and removed all his/her other listings, without refunding the money. I know they got the coin back from the tracking. ebay says I have to wait until 11/18 to escalate the case to them. Thanks to the advice here, I have plenty of screenshots of our communications as well as video and photos of me packaging up the coin and dropping it off at the post office. Hopefully the refund comes eventually. |
