To me it looks inconsistant with any of the examples. The two varieties of Dryer Coin, have either a widened egde, or a worn thinner edge. This coins edge is consistant with other circulated pennies. Also, the lettering does not appear coinsistant with the excessive ware on a Dryer Coin. The lettering is sharp on the edges and recessed in the middle. Not saying its not some kind of PMD, but it does not appear to be consistant with any of the examples of Dryer Coin I've seen yet.

This coin shows post-strike percussive damage. Call it a Dryer Coin, a tumbled coin ... whatever. It's post-strike damage.
Error coin writer and researcher.
