Quote: 149 lots are already $30K or more. I checked a few days ago and most were at $10K or a bit more. It appears that someone went through and pushed most of them up to $30K+. We'll never know, but it would be interesting to know how many of the current winning bidders are winning multiple lots.

The first lot went for $130K and then the online bidding room became unavailable.

I wonder if our appointed public officials were able to bid on these things or were they excluded from bidding? Maybe they just scored the trial strikes from the final sets of dies. If not already on ebay, the 3 piece sets will start showing up on ebay later today.

Apparently, the technical difficulties started before the first one was completed. They restarted and the first lot went for $200,000. The second lot went for $110,000. The auction has stopped again.

2nd lot: $110K. . .OMG. Live stream on You Tube paused. SB website shows "Under Maintenance". This is as bad as the Mint's fiasco last night. SNAFU time

Looks like nobody knows what is going on —- "Technical Difficulties" are monkey wrenching the proceedings. Crazy way to run, or ruin, a business!

The third lot went for $110,000. It only had a MS63 Philadelphia cent.

i think stacks/bowers made a major mistake on lot #1---it sold for 130,000 $ and they dropped the gavel on it---then the internet went down---when they got back they resumed bidding on lot #1 even though it had already sold--now it finally sold for 200,000 $---the bidder who had already won that for 130,000 $ should be entitled to it for his or her original bid--the same thing happened on lot #2 but when they resumed they did not start the bidding on it--they sold it for the original bid---
