Back in Canada, I waited about 2-3 years before I could purchase this 2002 TWENTY EURO P-3m issued out of Portugal (M prefix) but printed by DLR in the UK. I later submitted the note to PMG & it received a GEM66 EPQ grade (was very happy about that!). It later turned out to be pretty tough issue since only about 500,000 were printed in the UK compared to the more common Portuguese version.

Wow, that was a great find and a stellar grade! It's a very pretty banknote.

Here's P-107 a ND $20 from Fiji issued in 2002:

Nice, I like the buildings on the reverse!

I have just two entries for 2002. First up is a Cambodia 50 Riels P-52, an extremely common note I got in a mixed lot. The obverse depicts Banteay Srei, a 10th century temple. Per Numista, the reverse shows "The sluice "Tek Thla", along the National Road No 3." I could not find which dam this belongs to, though.

I'll also add this ND (2002) Nepal 5 Rupees P-46. The obverse has a portrait of King Gyanendra, while the reverse has a great scene of yaks in front of Mount Everest.

Wonderful notes!

& I just want to add that I will likely be purchasing a few examples from Cambodia as Angkor Wat (& possibly Banteay Srei, only 25 km from the Angkor Wat complex) is definitely on my bucket-list of places to explore. It will be a great place to stop over after a visit with my high school chum who currently lives in Hanoi, Vietnam.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angkor
Another buddy showed me his videos of the ancient complex (many monkeys have moved in) & it is definitely a "must-see." He told me that the locals call it the "city of monkeys" as a nickname.
The Yaks portrayed on the 5 Rupees is also nice to see as well but I'm not sure I can make a trip to Kathmandu.
2001
My first example P-63b from 2001 is this $5.00 from the Bahamas:
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
It features Sir Cecil Wallace-Whitfield who was a politician & "nationalist" of the Bahamas. The reverse features Junkanoo dancers at centre, Coat of arms of the Bahamas and bank logo at right. Now, all I need is the "a" version released in 1997.

My 2nd example is this P-56a Commemorative $5.00 polymer note from Australia:
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
The front features a portrait of Sir Henry Parkes (1815-1896) who was the longest serving premiere of New South Wales. The back has the portrait of Catherine Helen Spence (1825-1910), another famous Australian politician. The note is ND (or No Date) but you can tell that it is from 2001 by the first two digits of the serial number (01). Australian notes often feature a famous male & female on both front & back of their notes. Below is the link on Numista which provides the data for this 100th anniversary note of the nation of Australia:

Wow, that sounds like it will be an awesome trip! One thing I love about world banknotes is that they let you travel the world vicariously. One day I would love to see the countries where some (but not all) were made!

Two more great notes, walk2dwater! I love the color on the Australia note; it's very vibrant!

My lone example for 2001 is another Cambodian banknote, 100 Riels P-53. The Independence Monument appears on the obverse. Located in the capital city of Phnom Penh, it commemorates Cambodia's independence from France in 1953. The reverse features a school building.

Excellent pair for 2001! & Two more great notes, walk2dwater!

Thanks guys
-That's another excellent example from Cambodia CB!
2000
Numista reports I have 27 notes for 2000 so it has been tough for me to narrow down just two entries for this year.
The first is the Fiji P-100b $50.00
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
It has QEII on the front, the COA & a Kacau bird left. The reverse shows the signing of deed of cession and Cession stone in centre, Fijian flag raising ceremony at left. This note happens to be the last version (before they put a silver optical device on the front) & modified the design.

The 2nd note is one of my favourites. It is P-160d the last 500 Francs issued by France before the introduction of the Euro:
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
It features Marie & Pierre Currie on the front & lab equipment (a model of the atom) on the reverse. The note is very artistic in the expressionistic sense & quite impressive in person. I also like the fact that I snagged the last 2000 version rather than the more common 1994 version (though the note is very common).

Two beautiful banknotes, walk2dwater! The reverse of the Fiji note is very cool, and I love the colors on the French note.

Wow! My situation is a little different for 2000. I don't technically have an entry for today, but I have at least one banknote for 2000 that's part of a recent purchase. Unfortunately I haven't processed them yet. I am very OCD with my collection, as I suspect most all of us are, so new purchases are first graded, inventoried, scanned/photographed, and holdered before I store them. I'm hoping with the holiday tomorrow I can work on the backlog!

-Thanks, & really 23 items (just checked again) as 4 are "doubles" for swapping (our early Canadian Journey $10 were printed in 2000 & issued in 2001). My situation is similar in that I haven't photographed several items I picked up the last 2 years & I am trying only to post notes that I have previously posted here on CCF.

Love the note from France. Beautiful colors and design.

-Yes the colours just jump out at you. My first profession was using medical isotopes to scan patients & we had to study Madame Curie's contributions to Nuclear science. I was impressed by her pioneer spirit, passion for understanding matter & dedication to science (no matter what obstacles she faced). She was the first woman to win a Nobel Peace prize & is also featured on 2 Polish banknotes (P-152 20,000 Zlotys from 1989):

& a special non-circulating 2011 Commemorative 20 Zlotys note issued in a folder (P-A184)
https://en.numista.com/202979
Here's another one P-66 $50 from the Bahamas. It features Sir Roland T. Symonette on the front & the central bank on the back (also a blue marlin bottom left but it is somewhat difficult to see):
