@Chadcoins Nice coin . Historically it is rarer to find a coin struck with a single strike without re punches and Mechanical Doubling . This effect you see is common on all British coins right up until and including Queen Victoria. Unlike other countries like US Canada & AUS The UK pretty much ignores these unless it is an error strike or wrong letter punched adds zero value I am afraid my friend
