Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6963 Posts	Posted 12/19/2025 12:27 pm I picked up this example of The First Flag for $4. I am a sucker for bicentennial and Revolutionary War memorabilia, but this medal has the added allure of a large Cud. The reverse provides a nice display of the strike weakness caused by a Cud on the opposite coin face. Images angled to better show the Cud. Medal by Van Brook of Lexington, KY. Not listed (yet) on tokencatalog.com and the numista example is lacking the Cud: https://en.numista.com/105241 "If you climb a good tree, you get a push." -----Ghanaian proverb "The danger we all now face is distinguishing between what is authentic and what is performed." -----King Adz Report this Post to the Staff
