I've been buying San Francisco minted quarter rolls for years to keep my quarter collection complete. At first, I only had to buy the San Francisco rolls, but then the mint decided to require the purchase of the P and D minted ones to get the S minted ones. Now that the San Francisco mint is no more, is there any news on whether they'll transfer the process to West Point or is it done? My 3-roll subscription still indicates that it's active.

Are we sure this is a done deal? I have yet to find a credible source saying it is official.

The US Mint website does not mention it. But, to be honest, I almost expect that to be the last place to announce it.

You're right on both points. Perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself. I guess we'll see...

Perhaps, but it is worth contemplating it though. I have posted before that West Point is a good landing spot to consolidate the NCLT stuff if San Francisco is liquidated.

I think the mint only does the S mint quarter for ones in a series. Since 2026 is not part of a series, there are no S mints just like in the 2021 Crossing the Delaware quarters.

We'll have to see if they return in 2027 for the Youth Sports series.

yep, I went and looked yesterday and saw that for 2026 the mint is only offering P/D rolled and bagged quarters, I'm assuming that the subscription will work with this PD roll offering this year (2026) I'll go check on the product code to see if they match...

Added: Nope they don't match, and I'm not seeing a subscription link to sign up for them either.. (So I set up reminders for all 5 dates)

Looks like I will hafta use D mint quarters to fill my "Quarters" Dansco this coming year.

D mint are usually of better quality than P mint.

I saw that, but I stand by what I said up top, "The US Mint website does not mention it. But, to be honest, I almost expect that to be the last place to announce it." This includes the admins assuring the accuracy of their schedule.

But, I am inclined to believe it is bunk and the SF Mint closure suggestion is just another piece in the "flood the zone" strategy. I also think it picked up steam here when the American Innovation Dollar proof set was discontinued.
