Something is looking "off" for this to be struck through a rim bur.
It looks more like a die Crack & might be a precud.

If a Rim Fin is caused by extruded metal rising up through the collar due to excessive striking pressure, how do we get a "struck through a folded Rim Fin"?

The strike creates the fin so the fin can't be both created by and struck through the same strike, can it?

Given how tightly the extra metal conforms to the arc of the rim I'm more inclined to go with struck through a rim burr or perhaps struck through a piece of loose copper/foil.

Since the rim is clearly visible a Cud is not the answer.

Definitely not struck through a folded Rim Fin, though.
