Everest Pillar of the Community Taiwan 606 Posts	Posted 01/05/2026 11:06 am This 63mm, 7.8 ounce silver medal was awarded by Laos to Laotian artist and dancer Thotsakan Insisiengmay who represented Laos at the Expo. It has a special meaning for me as I spent three days at the Expo and visited the Laos exhibit among many others. Ironically the one exhibit I did not visit was the U.S. exhibit. It was the most popular exhibit as it had artifacts and pictures and a Moon rock from the Apollo 11 mission and landing from the prior year. The lines were long and 1-2 hour waiting time was the norm. Report this Post to the Staff
