I think this is Gallienus even without the whole legend. Looks like RIC 330 or a variant of it. But he is missing the beard.

Gallienus,-Antoninianus-Without-Silver

I am not very familiar with late imperial coinage. This coin is too common to worry about fakes?

Many common coins are faked, but your coin is fine. The missing beard is probably the result of a weak strike. Compare with Mars on the reverse, who is also missing details. There is also a slight possibility that the engraver forgot the beard; but weak strikes are common.

The Roman Empire was close to bankrupt at the time this coin was minted, and debasement of the coinage was out of control.

Thus, many of the antoninianii, especially later in the reign, were just bronze coins.
It is also not all that rare to find many coins of Gallienus in 'as struck' condition, despite the fact that they were carelessly minted.

This coin would have originally been silvered; but these thin "silver" washes often didn't last long, due to wear, corrosion, poor bonding etc. etc.
