Rainbow toning is unstable. If you want to keep it looking like this, it has to be sealed from the air. A spray with clear acrylic lacquer will achieve the result.

Isn't lacquer considered a form of coin damage?

Test check first to make sure on a coin of no value. Encapsulate it to protect the thin spray covering.
Acrylic lacquer easily removed with acetone.

I would not recommend lacquer. Air tight capsule would be better.
