Ebay: Accidentally Ordered From China Due To USA Location In Listing?

Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6451 Posts	Posted 01/19/2026 09:47 am I am puzzled on this one. I bought a cheap DVD burner on ebay. I didn't want to deal with international shipping and maybe tariffs, so I purposely looked at the seller location at the bottom of the listing. Ships from Houston, TX, USA. Great, all good. Today, I get the shipping update, coming from Asia. I look at the seller profile, location says China. So how can the seller location in the profile say a different country, but the seller location in the listing shows as American? Seems wise to know where to look for coin listings. In the listing it may show a USA address but when you click the "about" business for more info it can be out of the country. The business may have contact reps in USA but it's not really in USA.
