If a clot comes out you get dry socket. If so, go back to the dentist and he'll put some stuff that looks like skoal or peat moss it the hole and that fixes it. I had a Dry Socket and Pain for over 3 Hours worst part a small piece of Ground Beef got in the socket and mayed it worst, Tried the swish and swirl with no results. But the Dentist did a great job of completely stitching over the gums above each and every hole.
