Thanks Hoki and Hondo - I'm hoping for the same thing too (no pain) and of course no complications too - I have heard that dry socket is quite painful, something I have not experienced, but I know how to prevent that and other maladies that can happen

dry socket

Words from experience: do not spit or swirl water in your mouth. If a clot comes out you get dry socket. If so, go back to the dentist and he'll put some stuff that looks like skoal or peat moss it the hole and that fixes it.

Yep, that's how they occur. But the Dentist did a great job of completely stitching over the gums above each and every hole. But, yes, I'm not swirling of spitting - salt water in, shake head, gravity drop

My sister got a dry socket once - told me all about the pain - I don't need it Nor do I want it, so proper oral care is necessary.

However - all that said - I'm in ZERO pain today But there is a lot of swelling
