I'm retiring from acquiring! Please note my new temporary signature below...two sales in one with Good Stuff for collectors of either/both 19th-century British and Canadian colonial exonumia.

Meanwhile, here are three of my early 19-century British silver tokens, issued to help offset the shortage of "small change" caused by a combination of negligence, inattention, and insolvency on the part of the Crown.

From left to right, these 34-35mm three-shilling tokens are: 1811 Bank of England (Not Quite MS), 1813 Jersey (NGC PF63), and 1816 Bank of England (NGC MS65).
