I bought this one off of ebay for 48.00, plus 4.99 for shipping. It has a hole, plus some corrosion and damage, but it's got good details on it still. For that price, I snagged it for 48.00 BO. I'm really glad to have this in my Large Cent collection! https://www.ebay.com/itm/336434200116 Errers and Varietys.

Nice readable date. Your coin certainly has character to it! Only around a Million minted..........

Nice date and very nice and clear "one cent" with a decent wreath. . EV, you ever think about creating a topic like some of the others such as EV's Large Cent Collection. I'd love to see all of your large cent acquisitions.

Thank you, Adam! I've actually thought about making a Large Cent collection thread. I should do it. Just give me some time, and it'll be up on here.

Thank you, coin rejector! I always look for good deals on Large Cents. I usually try to buy the best looking ones that I can find for cheaper. I like it when they have clear, readable dates.

A while back I bought a 1794 Liberty Cap large cent off of ebay. You can barely see the outlines of Miss Liberty and her cap on the obverse; likewise, the date is only readable if you tilt the coin at a certain angle. The reverse has more detail; the wreath is very apparent. I got this wondrous, 18th-century, less-than-one-millon mintage coin for $40. Another bargain! They're out there if you're patient.
