I could dig it back up, but there is literally nothing different about the obverse.

Can't be a 1977 Anthony dollar. Eisenhower dollars were struck through 1978 with the first Anthony dollars dated 1979.

It is customary to post up a full coin image of both sides every time you post up coins to be examined or discussed.

The coin appears to be dipped in acid or some other corroding chemical.. If the obverse is the same as the reverse, then it would almost verify a chemical effected coin.

Yes, I meant 1979, not 1977. Here is the obverse picture.
