I am old enough to remember when you could go to a random bank,
ask for a roll of nickels, and the whole thing would be filled with buffs.
But a cigar box full of large cents? That's on a whole 'nother level.

overdates (e.g., 1851/81), struck-through errors, die cracks, and rotated reverses. Rare, dramatic errors like large planchet defects, significant off-center strikes, or rare varieties like the 1796 stemless reverse can command high prices.

That is really cool. What's the story behind them? Did you accumulate over time or inherit them? Are they extras you had to collections or do you just like to keep them stored in bulk like that?
