I changed my sub from 3 to 1 because of the price increase.

I hope they go on sale then. The mint has been playing a version of musical chairs with the sales dates. I have mine on subscription as well. I think the silver proof sets are the only silver coins of the semiq coins.

Yeah, I have yet to see the quarters offered separately as they have been in the past.

Quote: sub for 2 units of each silver proof and proof sets......going to be an expensive year for me with mint purchases Yes it is. I'm debating on searching out the silver proofs separately instead of getting an extra silver proof set - only to crack one open for my Dansco - THAT would be an expensive thing to do. In past years, I bought 2 Uncirculated, Clad Proof, and Silver Proof Sets, only to crack open one of each to place in my albums and the other sets remain in OGP, but this year, I'm not so sure.. (at least on the silver set anyway.

Since my modern Dansco albums are custom, I can skip a year and leave the OGP intact this time. I can always change my mind and do what you are doing. In a few years I am sure the price will plummet and people—or their heirs—will dump them at a loss.

My subscription lists this set at $245! pretty steep in my opinion. Also it still notates them produced at the San Francisco mint.

Quote: I am glad I have an active subscription. Likewise. However with the prices, this will likely be my last year of buying them directly from the US Mint, if at all. I may be done after the SemiQ products.

You are not the only one contemplating that.
