I have the 2016's and they are among my favorites. The classic designs in gold are a winner. I'm not into any of the three series enough that the difference in size bothers me. The premium was a bit steep at the time, but with the 2026's being in sets, and the increase in gold price, it will be even more so, and I don't know which, if any, I will be able to get this year. I also greatly prefer not having the privy mark on them.

Side by side with the original silver circulation strikes they're hardly noticable. To your argument, they could have played with the thickness to acheive the same diameter. Glad I bought all three back in 2018. Finally, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you opt to buy them. Beautiful representations at the appropriate time.

I went to a coin show and picked up my first gold coin

A 2016 W Centennial Winged Liberty Dime

The price was $585 but I traded a 2026 W Dual Date ASE and a 2026 P Congrats Set ASE Plus $80 Cash

That works out to about $440

The price was $585 which is well above spot and about $100 less then what this coin sells for on ebay

I just got lucky that the dealer want my 2026 ASEs

I really didn't spend any money at the show because I also sold some junk silver for $40 per dollar

i acquired one of each-- all 3-- back in 2016/17 and I still have them. very happy that I did, though I wish I would have bought 2 of each. yes, it was worth it. they're beautiful and now are much pricier & much more valuable.

Boba, these are great coins in nice packaging (I prefer OGP). You can pick them up for around spot in the Thursday Stacks Bowers bullion auction.
