I believe the irregular shapes of the "doubled" areas point more towards Die Deterioration Doubling - where little bits of the die along the sharper edges break off as the die nears end-of-life.
I'm not sure if the raised lumps on the rim are Cuds, or if it's just some kind of environmental damage; there's an environmental stain right there where the spot is, which naturally pushes me towards the "corrosion spot" theory, but I could be wrong there.
The environmental damage would preclude a "straight grade" from a grading company.
