Hello, new to the site, forum. I'm currently searching through my good friends coin collection and came across this 1921 D Morgan. It's in a protective case(see pics), but It looks like to me someone opened it and took out the original coin and replaced it with a circulated coin. Looking at it through my scope, I believe it's a VAM 1N. I'm new on this page, so please let me know if my pics are good enough. Please do not block me. I will take better ones. Thanks in advance.

to CCF!

It looks like it might be a VAM-1Q with a die break on the second T of STATES. You should be able to see other die markers with your scope.

Thank you Zurie. Yes, looking at the pics, that's exactly what it is. Has a die break right on the second T. Thank you again.
