I would say this coin is the better of the two, in fact. The detail in the wheat stalks at the top of her head dress are better, and the hair that frames her face as well as at the bottom of the headdress has more detail. I might give this VF, and the other F. Both are pretty worn ro be honest, but free is good.
Here's a site I use for French coins:
https://www.lefranc.net. When it comes up it offers to translate into English for me. I usually do that. I do speak French reasonably well, but I'm still learning French numismatic terms. There's a menu of various coin denominations, although you want to make sure if you're looking at five franc coins or greater you pick based on the metal, the gold coins being set apart towards the bottom of the list.
One thing I've not been able to find on this site is a 1-70-style scale with photos the way PCGS Photograde does. Instead, they have "the ideal collection" with photos of the best version of each coin at the right hand side of the page that lists values. But the conditions are usually 60-65. For all the coins. Well, sure, of course that's ideal, but I need to know what a VF-30 looks like. Once in a while they'll post something in that range if the coin is super rare and 30 was the best one they could find, but otherwise the most help they offer is to show you a really nice one. And good luck figuring out where yours lands.
They use letters B (for "bien" or good), TB ("tres bien" or very good), TTB ("tres tres bien"), SUP ("superbe") with numbers on the 1-70 scale. You'll see them on a price guide page. That's across the top. Down the right hand side you'll see just numbers, and that's where they are usually pictures of coins in 60 or better condition, so no often image for a 20 or 30.
