Hello all, new member. I have this 1888P Morgan with what looks like a "6" under the third 8. I've seen the VAM for a dash under the 8 but this doesn't look like that to me. Anyone see this before? I've an account with PCGS but dont want to spend thw extra money and time for "variety " if it won't come back being they only do the top 100. Plus, Id like to know in general. Thanks for the help. TC

We'd need to see full coin pictures both obverse and reverse. Looking forward to seeing the coin!

Might be die chips, but the photo isn't clear enough to tell what's going on there. For VAM attribution, sharp full coin photos of the obverse and reverse are needed.

As already stated, clear full coin shots of obverse and reverse needed. That being said, check out VAMs 15, 15A, 17 and 17A, they all have something going on in the last 8.

Check out the attributes of VAM-29, I cannot make out some of the finer items with your full coin shot. I think you may have a later die stage of the obverse and reverse of this VAM, due to the cracking.
