Could someone please help me with the above? These are perfect semi-rigid, but TOO SMALL. Getting a stressed bill enclosed with or without a sleeve is nearly impossible w/o an engineering degree. I've received slightly bigger versions with purchases. Any suggestions? Much appreciated,
A bill damaging dummy

I had bought the BCW brand and had similar problems. They need to be 1/4 wider.

Sorry, looking for alternative to BCW brand small currency top loading semi-rigid bank note holders. I can't find anything!

1847bill; greetings! And T/Y for corroboration! Those things are ridiculous! What did you switch to/use please? I know larger versions exist. I tried getting a REALLY stressed 28' funny-back secured and had to give up! This is really bugging me

For large-sized World currency, I have used Supersafe, Guardhouse & LIghthouse (Leuchtturm), Myalar & other brand names (all excellent quality currency sleeves). To see some of the best PVC/acid-free sleeves check out this Wizard Currency Supply link:
https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/pr...ncy-sleeves/

90% of the above are "top loaders" but the other 10% are the folding type which are very nice (with open sides) for the big-boxy older, European large formatted notes (France, Italy, etc). I got the odd open-sided sleeve from World sellers but then had a few large orders from Allen's Coins of Ohio & all of their notes were in these huge 5"X8" holders. I would call them & ask before placing an order.

(They're all a bit more flimsy than the semi-rigid top loaders so you have to learn how to hold them from the corners. They're also big to fit in an album, you'll need 2 pocket pages, instead of 3-pocket pages).

I've seen a lot of online chat from collectors who champion one brand over another, like BCW, but you have to go with the sleeve that works for you.

Good luck!
