Dearborn Moderator United States 94728 Posts	Posted 05/05/2026 11:39 pm This is a large date cent The rounded corners of the 7 and the rounded end of the 9 in the loop. a small date will have sharp pointy corners on the 7 and a flat blunt end of the 9. In addition, the gap between the rim to the 4 will be smaller on a large cent and larger for a small date. However, need MUCH better images of the date and MM. This is a small date 1974-S cent: and this is a large date: Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember.
