Hello everyone. I came across this cool quarter. I know this is not an error coin on the reverse side of the coin.But could it be a variety coin? I know there are no teeth on the upper part of the mouth. But it looks like his teeth got knocked out or falling out. Your thought

Those are called reed marks/bag marks, post strike damage, safe to spend.

Yep - those are contact marks from the coin hitting against the reeded edge of another coin. It's common circulation damage.
