I started getting from the mint starting about 3-4 years ago. Last year I dropped the sub. Then of course it was a hot item, can't remember, they decided they were bad or something? So they were worth a bit, but I just said "meh". This year I did resume the sub, thinking it'll be my real Semiquincentennial purchase. I know a lot of the stuff I get this year will have the dual date and privy, but to me that's just normal ASE purchases. The truly special purchase for me will be the EU Gold Eagle

Meh. I used to buy Silver Proof Sets, before they went nuts with the price tag. I'm out.

We all know the U S Mint's have lost their minds when it comes to Products that are unexplainably over-priced, IE, annual sets etc. I am going to Re-instate my subscriptions to the Silver Proof Set for 2026, Looks promising, All Except the price,

But, 2026 is probably the last year I'll pay THEIR price. A fond (overpriced) farewell. Aside from an unexpected price restructuring, I'm likely finished with buying US Mint products after this SemiQ year.

I've been doing a bit of this, going back to dormant subs from 2023 on the Peace/Morgan issues for example, and I guess one of my Congrats set subs. I saw the Congrats was going to be the special issue, at least this year. I had 2 active and forgot I had one paused. At the point I noticed the sold out sub status, I tried to resume that paused sub, and was surprised when it actually went back to active. On the Peace/Morgans, I also resumed my 2023 Uncirculated subs (since this year that's the EU) and the 2 coin set, (since we don't really know what that's going to be right now). I'd recommend never cancelling a sub. Just pause it.

I'm getting 1, maybe 2. They'll probably be the last ones SF mints plus the high price means it'll most likely be a key date.
