Interesting topic and nice rounds, Vector Ze.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Quote: we do have a copper round topic Yeah, I saw that one. I thought it was created because of a previous silver one.

Quote: Sic semper tyrannis is a Latin phrase meaning 'thus always to tyrants'. In contemporary parlance, it means tyrannical leaders will inevitably be overthrown. The phrase also suggests that bad but justified outcomes should, or eventually will, befall tyrants. It is the state motto of the U.S. commonwealth of Virginia.

When I picked these things up, spot silver was $4 or $5 (seemed like it flatlined forever). This is one of four rounds in a common, pliable plastic sheet, clearly cut from a larger sheet. Four ounces for around $30. Ah, the olden days. That $30 would be equivalent to $70 today. Still, not a bad deal. After more than 30 years, I don't detect PVC damage, so I'll leave them in their sheet for now. I have never worked for The Associates, much less won an achievement award from them! The eagle looks great, seems high relief.

Picked this one up back in November of 2017, debated with myself back then for paying $54. (I thought I was crazy because silver was sitting @16 to 17/oz.) But I enjoyed the design then and still do today. Here's a photo of the obverse from the original listing Here's a photo I found online of the reverse Wow while searching the web for photos of the reverse, looks like I should have bought more. But back then that was 10 bucks over spot when I would rarely pay no more than 2 bucks over. What you gone a do

Yeah, they are dated 1989, and I think they came into my hands about 1992.
So, what's the back story on that Egyptian design?
