Sorry, but I do not have a clue as to what you are trying to convey.
Nor do I understand what all the "zoomed in" photographs are supposed to be showing.

I see what you are saying. Is it some weird die wear?

It looks like early Die Deterioration. The edges of the die have been worn after a lot of use.

Oh my bad I should have made it so everyone could understand and see the difference, I've uploaded two examples so hopefully it's within.
You will notice the top picture (of the two) has a circle, ok using that circled you can compare to the normal picture (bottom photo) (just an example photo to compare with) with the bottom picture you can hopefully see there is a difference (between the top and bottom photo), let me know if you need me to explain it some more to place it within.

That aside thank you, youspider083 and jbuck, I was guessing just Die Deterioration, thought maybe it had a specific name or something, yah never know, only just learnt "orange peel" yesterday.

As for the platypus tongue error, I'm guessing it's usually a 2017 kinda thing, I wonder if anyone else has come across it on the 2021 as well?

Not specific to this post, but in general, I sometimes feel that microscopy has become a problem in the coin-collecting community.

Wouldn't a microscope be lovely !! Know what I'm working with? A plano convex lens I took from a telescope.

A keen eye would notice the 3 1/2 claw holding the lens.
