Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 73628 Posts	Posted 05/17/2026 11:29 am I got this 1857 Flying Eagle cent for free by CCF member, Brandmeister. Thank you so much! Many an early coin was holed for ornamental attachment to a chain as a watch fob. The date and/or type of coin utilized might well have carried some sentimental significance to the bearer. ... Enjoy!
