AU Details due to cleaning. There are thousands of 84-S dollars in the AU grading spectrum and yours is one of those that unfortunately has seen the "blue pool" a few too many times. It was probably a nice lustrous AU lightly circulated coin before dipping.

i have to agree Odee. definitely over dipped. due to all of the marks on both sides if you want a numeric, i'd call it AU50 details (cleaned/PMD). the deep gouge at the points of the arrows is deep enough to call PMD
